The popular Hawk Tuah girl, AKA Hailey Welch received an awkward silent treatment when she made an appearance at Rock the South music festival in Cullman, Alabama during the weekend.
Making a surprise appearance on the stage to welcome Warren Zeiders and Jelly Roll, she asked the audience to “make some noise” for the band. However, the audience did not respond back with any sort of excitement.
As she shouted “woo” from the stage, only her voice could be heard, as the audience seemingly maintained an awkward silence.
As soon as the clips reached the realms of social media, multiple people began reacting to it stating how it was a short-lived fame for the Hawk Tuah girl.
As an X (formerly Twitter) account, @frozenaesthetics posted the video showing the mild response of the audience as the Hawk Tuah girl addressed them, one netizen commented:
Its what happens when you force a meme and try to exploit it.”
Others also commented and stated how her popularity was now allegedly over. Several comments on the post read:
Oh thank god it’s over,” one person said.
Nature is healing,” another person said.
Good, it should have never lasted more than the weekend it was posted,” one person wrote.
Some commented on the nature of social media trends that go viral and fizzle out in a span of a few weeks.
It’s pretty difficult to launch a career off of one viral moment. Especially when you cash in so visibly, and just assume the audience will show up,” another person commented.
Her 15 minutes are almost up, Mum,” one person said.
I think she doesn’t understand who her crowd is,” another user commented.
The Hawk Tuah girl rose to fame after a video uploaded by Tim & Dee TV went viral in June
The term Hawk Tuah was born just after a reel by Tim & Dee TV posted on Instagram on June 11, 2024, went viral. In the video, the YouTubers asked two women, out of which one was Hailey Welch, about one move in bed that can make a man go crazy. To this, Hailey Welch responded by saying:

While Hailey Welch might have received a lukewarm response from the masses over the weekend. However, her recent images with Jake Paul and Hulk Hogan left everyone shocked, as she attended the match where Jake Paul fought Mike Perry.
